Social Media A Sense of Community

I'm a loner, but social media gives me a sense of community.

There are plenty of people I don't care to see or talk to in person.  Putting my mild disdain for humans aside, I use social media to know what is going on in or near my neighborhood.

Although familiarity breeds contempt and human beings are suspect, social media provides a platform for people who want to be informed and somewhat social at a safe distance.

Why a stranger's hello can do more than just brighten your day

In general, people who tended to have more conversations with weak ties tended to be a little happier than people who had fewer of those kinds of interactions on a day-to-day basis.

Is a warning label for social media enough?

The U.S. Surgeon General  said labels are needed to help fight a mental health crisis among America's young people.

Robert F. Kennedy Vaccines & Trump

I enjoyed listening to Robert F. Kennedy on the Ring of Fire radio show. To me Robert F. Kennedy seemed knowledgeable and passionate.

Watching a bunch of RFK Jr. internet videos I can somewhat see why he is supporting Donald J Trump for President of the USA?

I agree with RFK Jr.'s belief on vaccines, but he may lose more of the little credibility he has by betting on Trump.

Alderman Raymond Lopez Beyond The Sound Bites

I interviewed Chicago's 15th Ward Alderman Raymond Lopez, and I was pleasantly surprised. On and off the air Alderman Raymond Lopez was candid and substantive. I should not prejudge a person based on TV news sound bites.

Don’t forget, you must pit the old black male vs. the young black male, and the young black male against the old black male. You must use the dark skin slaves vs. the light skin slaves, and the light skin slaves vs. the dark skin slaves.

You must use the female vs. the male, and male vs. the female. You must also have all your white servants and overseers distrust all blacks but it is necessary that your slaves trust and depend on us. They must love, respect and trust only us.
