Neighborhood Crime In Chicago

Many Chicagoans don’t want long term solutions that would prevent neighborhood crime, they just want more police. More police officers on the streets of Chicago may deter a lot neighborhood criminals.

Mass incarceration of African American teens and young men should lower crime rates. Using Chicago police officers to forcefully persuade young low income African Americans to move away from Chicago could also lower crime.

Chicago has had a Negro problem for over 100 years.  Although the African American population is declining, it is not declining fast enough for long term solutions. More police officers on the streets could be a quick fix.

These words may sound harsh, but I must ask you; how much crime would you tolerate in your neighborhood?
